Local Community Resources:
- Florida Institute of Technology: This university boasts a huge international population (30%) from 106 different countries. In addition to connecting with college students from around the globe many international professors here publish and present findings locally and even offer presentations to students.
They offer a yearly International Festival which is an annual celebration of cultural diversity and international community held at the Florida Tech campus in Melbourne, Florida. International student groups and local cultural organizations host country and diversity-themed display booths showcasing a variety of traditional clothing, informational literature, maps, flags and artifacts. Dance and vocal groups, bands and other performers (including martial artists) fill the afternoon with live entertainment on Florida Tech's outdoor stage, the Panthereum, while local eateries sell a variety of delicious ethnic foods in the Panther Plaza courtyard. Children's activities include face painting and carnival games.
They also offer an International Friendship Program for connecting students with each other and with hosts.

Space Coast Startup Weekend - The original non-profit organization is headquartered in Seattle, Washington but Startup Weekend organizers and facilitators can be found in over 200 cities around the world including Melbourne. From Mongolia to South Africa to London to Brazil, people around the globe are coming together for weekend long workshops to pitch ideas, form teams, and start companies.
India Fest - This yearly festival occurs In Wickham Park and is committed to "increasing cultural awareness by showcasing the rich ethnic diversity of India and promoting cultural harmony through community outreach, volunteerism and philanthropy.
St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church & Greek Festival- Allows you to come experience Greece for a day
Jewish Federation of Brevard and Indian River Counties - "The Federation Education Committee, in response to community requests, provides Judaic information for public use or display. Our Holocaust exhibits are continuously available for use by the community as a whole as well as the public schools. Speakers are often requested along with- these exhibits and the Federation accommodates these requests through our volunteers and Shoah survivors. The Federation has provided, and will continue to provide, materials and teacher workshops to assist the implementation of Florida's requirement to teach the Holocaust in all public high schools in the state. Yearly, the Federation provides a scholarship for a teacher to attend college courses dealing with the Holocaust.
Informational, historical and Jewish educational display panels are available for use in classrooms and public areas. A new Resource Center with videos and books to be used in Religious and public school classrooms is located at our Federation office at 311 Sixth Avenue, Indialantic, FL 32903. Area congregations and religious school teachers may check out reference materials and reproduce activity packages"

Brevard Hispanic Center - connects the Hispanic community with businesses, government entities, civic organizations and the people in general
Kennedy Space Center/NASA - This visitors complex serves the public, tourists and school groups to educate them on international space exploration. Also allows for a great view of launching rockets and shuttles and is home to the Astronaut Hall of Fame and Museum.
Brevard Caribbean American Sports & Cultural Association - Their goal is to promote
Caribbean social, educational, cultural and sporting activities in the community.
Foosaner Art Museum - Hosts art classes and workshops for students and adults and exhibits work from international artists from around the world.
